In accordance to the mesothelioama verdict, $14.5 million was given for punitive damages and $8.2 million was awarded towards compensatory damages. Plaintiff attorney team included Jay E. This verdict also gave powerful message to companies who risk the life of their employees for their short term financial benefits.
